Sports for Christ Ministries International is a Christian ministry in Kenya whose main objective is to obey God’s Great Commission to His Son in Psalm 2:8-”Ask of me,and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession….”.It is also tied to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ in matthew 28;19-”Go ye therefore, and teach all nations….”,mark 16:15-”…go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”.
“…..yes,i try to find a common ground with everyone so that i might bring them to Christ”-
    1Cor 9:22

We use sports to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ by organising the young/youth/students through sports like soccer, basketball, volleyball, rugby, golf, baseball, cycling, motor racing, athletics, tennis among others. We are aware that the youth are hungry for a real and authentic relationship with Christ.During these activities Christian tracts and other published materials are distribured while films and videos are shown.
Finally,we seek and invite international links with groups that are keen in evangelism through sports:by coming to Kenya and teams from Kenya visiting other countries.
    God bless you!
    Yours in Christ,

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    Sub: Sports Evangelism Ministry Partnership:

Greetings from New Orleans, In reference to the above mentioned subject, I
am writing on behalf of Africa Youth Ministries Uganda to share with a
Window of opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ among the young
people through our Sports Evangelism as well as Sport For Social Change
Programs in Uganda. For the last 2 years, we have been implementing the
above mentioned programs reaching the out of school young people with both
HIV/AIDS Prevention messages and the gospel as well. We have found sport a
very rich & powerful tool in reaching both in & out of school young
people. Through Sport as an entry point we share the Abstinence, Purity,
    and evangelism messages.
Through this approach we have seen many young people committing their
lives to Christ & signing the Abstinence pledge cards. To visit our sports
    evangelism page go to http://www.aymu.org/sport%20evan/index.html

I am currently, in New Orleans, and i will be leaving for Chicago on the
27th of October. We’re in great need of sports missionaries and interns in
Uganda, the harvest is ready. It is only the gospel of Jesus that will
save many young people from contracting the deadly HIV Virus in Africa. I
am looking forward to hearing from you & meeting with you to discuss this
further. You can reach on 504 733 1550 ext 219 Travel Inn Plaza New
